Pietro Giordano, Sr., 74, of Nazareth passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025. He was born in Castel di Lucio, Sicily to the late Vincenzo and Francesca (Salamone) Giordano. From a young age, Pietro learned the masonry trade in his homeland before emigrating to Easton, Pennsylvania in 1974 where he continued his craft. In 1982, together with his devoted wife Maria, he founded Giordano's Pizza House and Family Restaurant in Pen Argyl, a beloved establishment that he ran with pride and dedication for many years alongside his family.
A man of strong faith and community spirit, Pietro was a member of Holy Family Church in Nazareth, the Italian Military, the San Placido Society of Easton, and Unico of Roseto. He was known for his passion for cooking, his love of soccer—especially his favorite team, Juventus—and, above all, his devotion to his family.
Pietro is survived by his loving wife Maria, with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage in December 2024. He is also survived by his sons, Placido and wife Angela of Easton, Pietro Jr. and his significant other Stacey Cenchitz of Bethlehem, and Mario and wife Orianna of Roseto; a sister, Giuseppa Maria Florindo of Sicily; and his cherished grandchildren Eva, Molly, Michael, Giuseppe, Giada, and another grandchild expected in November. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Vincenzo, brothers, Placido and Francesco, and his sister, Mother Superior Francesca of Egypt.
