Placido "Pat" Calantoni, 76, of Williams Twp., passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born November 25, 1948 in Castel di Lucio, Sicily he was a son of the late Filippo and Placida (Amato) Calantoni.
Pat served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was the sole proprietor of Pat Calantoni Construction, Inc. and retired in 2015. Pat was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Circolo of San Placido. In the U.S. he organized and financially assisted in the Santa Victoria Catholic mission in Argentina.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria (Sacco) Calantoni with whom he celebrated 53 years of marriage on the same day of his passing; sons, Phillip Calantoni and his wife, Liliana of Bethlehem Twp.; Vincent Calantoni and his wife, Christine of Bethlehem; Anthony Calantoni and his wife, Justyna of Newtown; daughter, Diana Calantoni of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Marco, Marissa, Matteo, Sofia, Gianna, Natalia, and Luca. He also leaves behind a sister, Josephine Calantoni of Palmer Twp.; and a brother, Joseph Calantoni of Nazareth.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM in the church. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Easton. Arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.).
