Deacon Ranulfo Raymundo, 83, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. Born on August 27, 1941 in San Ildefonso Bulacan, Philippines, he was the son of the late Esteban Jose and Sotera (Vitalista) Raymundo. He earned his Bachelors of Arts in journalism from Manuel L Quezon University.
Deacon Ranulfo was a deeply faithful and devoted man of God who dedicated his life to serving the church since childhood and uplifting those around him. As a Deacon for the Diocese of Allentown, he selflessly carried out his ministry with commitment and compassion. He was an active and cherished member of the Blue Army Shrine, the Catholic Diocese FCCDA, and Our Lady of Fatima Divine Mercy, where he tirelessly worked to share his faith and extend a helping hand to everyone in need.
Deacon Ranulfo found joy in God's creation through gardening, fishing, and farming, which brought him closer to the beauty of the Lord's works. A man devoted to prayer, he expressed his gratitude to God every day for the abundant blessings in his life, particularly his supportive and loving family and friends, whom he held close to his heart. His was known for this kindness and humility, leaving a lasting legacy of faith and devotion. He was well loved by all who knew him.
Deacon Ranulfo is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Cristina (Eleazar) Raymundo; his sisters, Bernadette Raymundo, Socorro Raymundo Capinpin; his brother, Thaddeus Raymundo; and as well as many nieces and nephews. He was well loved by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Deacon Ranulfo was preceded in death by his siblings Dolores Raymundo Hipolito, Wilibrordo Raymundo, Petronila Raymundo Poblete, Reynerio Raymundo, Venerable Raymundo and Ildefonso Raymundo.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 10:30 am at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA.
