Raymond A. Bassinger, 83, of Easton, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012 in St. Lukes Hospital.

Born : Raymond was born in Hartford, CT, a son of the late Charles and Elise (Allen) Bassinger.

Personal: Raymond was married to the former Patricia Miller for 59 years. He was a Regional Sales Manager for the Steel City Electrical Company, based out of Pittsburgh, PA, before retiring in 1989. He served as a volunteer fireman for many years in Long Island, NY. He also volunteered as a baseball little league coach for many years in Hauppauge, NY and Bridgewater, NJ.

Memberships: Raymond was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Michael Bassinger and wife Jean of Sudbury, MA., Thomas Bassinger and wife Lori of Beverly, MA; daughters Maureen Giannantonio and husband Frank of Piscataway, NJ, Suzanne Bassinger of Ft. Collins, CO, Patricia Smith and husband Jack of Forks Twp., Kathleen Brooks and husband Bob of Ft. Mill, SC; 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Services: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
