Raymond F. Flyte, Jr., 74, of Easton, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital – Anderson Campus surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Easton, PA,  a son of the late Raymond F. and Elizabeth (McDermott) Flyte, Sr.

Raymond was married to Verenia Sue Flyte with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage with on August 19th.  He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, where he received his GED in 1962.  He served as an Infantry Weapon Repairman during the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge in 1966. He was then a Truck Driver for ConAgra until 1990.  After attending Northampton County Community College, where he obtained his Associates Degree in Automotive in 1993, he worked for Deichman-Walker Chevrolet until this retirement in 2010.  He also served as the Palmer Township Little Leagues Baseball Coach until  1984.

In addition to his wife, Raymond is survived by three sons, Ray Flyte and wife Tara, Bill Flyte and wife Debra, and Tom Flyte and wife Jill; eight grandchildren, Rebecca, Tyler, Emily, Katlyn, Ashley, Aaron, Hannah and Lauren; one great-grandson, Nolan. He is also survived by two brothers, James Flyte and Dennis Flyte.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Flyte.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 18th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St., Palmer Twp., PA. An additional calling hour will be held Wednesday, September 19th at 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the funeral home.  A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
