Raymond Greene, 73, of Easton, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 in St. Luke's Hospice House.
Raymond was born on August 17, 1944 in Princeton, NJ to the late Charlie and Nellie (Dorsey) Greene.
Raymond was married to the former Bernice Hall. He worked for the Bethlehem Steel, Electronic Data System (EDS), and was the Director of the Northampton County Veteran's Affairs. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Raymond was a member of Bethlehem Seventh Day Adventist Church, the Disabled Veterans Program, and the American Legion.
In addition to his wife, Raymond is survived by children: Richard, David, Daniel, Glorie, and Cornelius; brothers Charles Dorsey, Tommy Dorsey, and Timothy Dorsey; sisters Elouise (Sue) Kamara, Lilah McKellar and husband Silbert, and Penelope Moore and husband Terry; host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Alfonso Smith, Willie Lee (Hook) Greene, and Jimmy Dorsey who all served in the US Army; nieces Tiffany L. Neely, and Chanelle Allen.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, June 30 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a Prayer Service 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Interment will be on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 2:30pm in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Raymond's memory may be made to any military service organization of your choosing.
