Richard P. Semonche, 69 of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away in Christiana Hospital in Newark DE, on December 22, 2013. Born: Richard was born in Phillipsburg NJ, a son to the late Peter and Mary (Glazier) Semonche. Personal: On August 29th, Richard celebrated 43 happy years with his beloved wife Rosemarie Guadagnino Semonche. Richard graduated from Phillipsburg High school and continued his education at Rutgers University taking several engineering courses. He also served his country in the United States Air Force where he obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant. Richard worked for Regal Paper in Belvedere, NJ before working for Hercules Research Center. While at Hercules, Richard received many awards and certificates for his long and outstanding career there. Richard enjoyed watching Phillipsburg High School wrestling matches and volunteering on election days. Membership: He was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Wilmington, DE. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his brothers Douglas and Donald Semonche along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2013 from 10:30am until 1pm in the Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA 18045 (Palmer Twp.). A funeral service will follow in the funeral home. Interment will take place at St. Anthony's Cemetery.
