Richard P. Tarsi, 82, of Easton, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest with his family at his side.

Richard was born in Martins Creek, PA, a son of the late Vincenzo and Florence (Casavecci) Tarsi.

Richard was married to the late Carol B. (Carpenter) with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage on October 6, 2016. He was a graduate of Easton Catholic High School. Richard was a Salesman in Scheibles Bakery of Wilson Boro before retiring in 1996. He enjoyed bowling, quoits, and was a sports fan especially the Mets, Flyers, and Philadelphia Eagles.

Richard was an active member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, and was a President of AARP.

Richard is survived by his daughters Eileen Albert and husband Reginald of Auburn, ME, Janice Mikitsh and husband John of Capitol Heights, MD, Karen Morris and husband Gregory of Nazareth, PA; a sister Pam Pavuk and husband Michael; his brothers Philip and wife Thelma, John and wife MaryAnn, Vincent and wife Marie; a brother-in-law Clyde Carpenter and wife Margaret; grandchildren Jordan Marie Adams, Justine Zinskie and husband Harry, John Mikitsh, Jonathan Albert, Peter Mikitsh, Zachary Albert, Emily Albert, and Veronica Morris. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters-in-law Charles and wife Mary, Bruno and wife Evelyn.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 am in St. Jane Frances Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Lower Mt. Bethel, PA.
