Name: Rita F. Gyecsek, 92, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the Village at Sullivan Trail. Born: She was born on June 28, 1919, in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Antonino and Grazia Todaro. Personal: Rita graduated from Easton High School in the Class of 1937. She was a seamstress at the former Easton Dress Company and Jodi Fashions, retiring in 1981. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Memberships: Rita was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. Survivors: Rita is survived by her sister Carolyn Morone of Forks Twp; sister-in-law Elizabeth Todaro of Wilson Borough; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Rita is preceded in death by her husband John Gyecsek, who passed away in 1996; her sisters Grace Buerlen and Mollie Russo; her brothers Stephen and Dominick Todaro; and brothers-in-law Joseph Buerlen, Mariano Russo and Frank Morone. Services: A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 10 am to 11 am in St. Janes Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Janes Chapel, 4049 Hartley Ave, Palmer Twp. Interment will follow at St. Anthonys Cemetery, Easton. Arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home Inc, 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp).
