Robert L. Ace, 85, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Gracedale Nursing Home. Robert was born in Stroudsburg, PA, a son of the late James A. and Anna (Shook) Ace. Robert was married to the former Valloria Moyer with whom he celebrated 66 years of marriage last May 20. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Robert was a Union Carpenter and self-employed plumber. He enjoyed woodworking, NASCAR and spending time with family. He was a club member of Safety First in W. Easton and Palmer Fire. He was a lifetime member of the Stroud Twp. Fire Dept. In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by a son Robert E. Ace of Pocono Summit; a daughter Gloria Repsher of West Easton; his sisters Margaret Werkheiser, AnnaJane Meckes, Anita Focke; his brothers William and James Ace; grandchildren Mark Repsher, Scott Repsher, Todd Ace; great-grandchildren Abygale, Alyssa, Jacob, and Shannon Repsher. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Adalin, Helen and Marion.Funeral Service will be held on September 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and Lehigh Streets, in Easton, PA.
