Name: Robert Jacob Buss, 85 of Palmer Twp. passed away Sunday April 8, 2012 in Westminster Village, Allentown. Born: He was born on February 5, 1927 in Easton a son of the late Frederick and Lottie Kemmerrer Buss. Personal: Robert and his wife, the former Doris Primavera, celebrated 63 years of marriage together. Most of his life, he worked for numerous local contractors as a carpenter until his retirement in 1978. Robert proudly served our country in the US Army during WWII. Memberships: He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Farmersville. Robert was extremely active with the church, specifically with the Brotherhood and helping with the churchs ham suppers for over 60years. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his daughters Suzanne Debbie Opitz and husband Barry of Bethlehem, Barbara Joan Swoyer and husband Bruce M. of Nazareth and grandchildren Kelly Buki, Jeffrey Opitz, Ryan Swoyer, Brooke Swoyer, Todd Swoyer and two great grandchildren Kiersten and Dustin Buki. Services: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and also Wednesday morning from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
