Name: Robert G. Cohen, 78 of Forks Twp. passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday July 3, 2011 in Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. Born: He was born on March 17, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY a son of the late George Cohen and Catherine Romanish Mindick. Personal: Robert and his wife, the former Betty Cron celebrated 53 years of marriage together on April 26th. He was employed as a salesman for FR Schreiber Co in Lititz, PA for 28 years retiring in 1996. Robert was a graduate of Wilson High School and attended Penn State University. He was one of the founders of the Forks Twp. Athletic Association and was actively involved in all levels of Township baseball as well as being instrumental in bringing T-ball to Forks. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Robert was also an avid animal lover, having owned many pets during his life. He served our country in the US Marines from 1956-1958. Memberships: Robert was a member of the Northampton County Marine Corps League. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by a son Jeff and wife Dawn Cohen of Nazareth; a daughter Julie Baldwin of Bethlehem Twp; a brother William Mindick of Arizona and grandchildren Justin and Nicole Cohen and Sean, Alyson and Trey Baldwin. Services: A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 10:30am until 11:30am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30am in the funeral home.
