Born: He was born on February 21, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY a son of the late Clarence and Mary Elizabeth Neenan Cronin. Personal: Robert and his wife, the former Patricia Ann Marino celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on March 31st. He was employed as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service for many years retiring in 2002. Robert served in the US Navy for 4 years on the USS Essex Aircraft Carrier during peacetime. Memberships: He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Palmer Twp. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his daughters Jamie Marie Talford and husband Frank of Clark Range, TN, Christine Cronin of Ephrata, PA, Cathleen Marie Bacon of Palmer Twp.; grandchildren Jacquelyn Rudolph and husband Timothy, Julie Schlabach and husband Ron, Jessie, Joshua, Jeremiah, Jody, Jennifer, Jonathan Talford, Stephen and Chelsea Bacon and great grandchildren Allister, Tristan and Annikki. A sister Marion Adams and brothers Charles, Bud and Donald Cronin preceded Robert in death. Services: Calling hours will be held on Monday from 8:00am until 10:00am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30am in the church, 4049 Hartley Ave. Palmer Twp. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
