Robert "Bob" Delaney, 73, of Easton, PA, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 2, 2020 in his home.

Bob was born in Astoria, NY, a son of the late James and Anne (Prestinari) Delaney. Bob was married to the former Diane Flynn with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage last November. He was a graduate of Bishop Loughlin High School in Brooklyn, NY; and Iona College of New Rochelle, NY; and Pace University of New York City, NY. Bob worked at New York Life Insurance as a Systems Analyst for 35 yrs. and H&R Block as a Tax Preparer for 17 yrs. until retiring.

Bob was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. Additionally, he was a member of the Iona College Glee Club, champion dog trainer in the English Springer Spaniel Club (division of the American Kennel Club), founding member of Palmer Township soccer league, and Blue Mountain Soccer League Hall of Fame inductee. He was also an avid golfer and lifelong Lake George enthusiast.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his sons Timothy Delaney and wife Amy of Catasauqua, PA; Brian Delaney and Meghan Lago of Easton, PA; daughter Colleen Delaney of Easton, PA; sister Anne Marie Delaney of Easton, PA; grandchildren Matthew and Adam Delaney, Owen, Ainsley, and Eli; brother-in-law Richard Flynn and wife Kathleen of East Meadow, NY; and Honorary family members Kirsten Jakobsen, Ryan Piper and wife Christine.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
