Name: Robert Gibbons, 71, of Palmer Twp., passed away on Monday, February 7th, in Valley Manor Nursing Home, Coopersburg. Born: Robert was born on May 10, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Charles and Isabelle Ashcroft Gibbons. Personal: Robert and his wife the former Annette Sarcona celebrated 47 years of marriage on May 26. He was an IT Manager for AT&T, retiring in 1989, and later as a Telephone Communication Consultant for 5 years, and also served in the US Army Reserve. Memberships: Robert was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, and on the Palmer Zoning Board for 3 years. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his sons Michael Gibbons of Flemington, NJ, Kevin Gibbons and his wife Heather of Flemington, NJ, Robert Gibbons and his wife Hollie of Northampton, PA; grandchildren Michael, Samantha, Ashlee, Connor, and Ethan. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Janes Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA 18045. Interment will be at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp. There will be no calling hours.
