Robert A. Grube, 83, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in his home.

Robert was born in Bethlehem, PA, a son of the late Robert C. and Catherine M. (Benner) Grube.

Robert was married to the former Anna Coopersmith, with whom he celebrated 57 years of marriage last December 3rd. He was a graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1951, and also attended Moravian College. Robert served as 3rd Class Petty Officer in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a salesman and driver for Schaibles Bakery before retiring in 1982. He served as coach and president of the Midget Football League in Warren County. Robert enjoyed gardening, animals, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He loved college football and was an avid Penn State fan.

Robert was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Farmersville, and a member of Teamsters.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Richard Rick and partner Russell of 28 years of Palmer Twp., Robert S. Grube of Saylorsburg, PA; a daughter Rebecca Wagner and husband Eric of 19 years of Forks Twp.; grandchildren Christopher, Matthew and Catherine Wagner; a sister Barbara Grube; and a brother William Grube.

A calling hour will be held on Friday from 10:30 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
