Robert R. Kirk, 79, of Easton passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 with his loving wife by his side.

Born in Staten Island, NY he was a son of the late Leonard and Catherine (Simmons) Kirk. Robert graduated high school in Leemay, MO. He served in the United States Army, serving as a medic in Vietnam for 1 year during the Vietnam War. He earned his undergrad from Pace University and his masters in social work from NYU. Robert worked as social worker for the federal government in Coatesville, PA for 25 years. After his retirement, he worked for Northampton County part time.

Robert enjoyed listening to music of all kinds. His favorite was rock n roll. He had a deep appreciation for nature and loved being outdoors, taking long walks in local parks. He liked to travel and saw many places throughout the US with his wife.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Doris (Hanisch) Kirk; brother, James Kirk and his wife, Lorraine of Ocean Gate, NJ; 21 nieces and nephews; 6 great nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Calling hours will be held from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St., Easton (Palmer Twp.) followed by a memorial services and military honors.
