Name: Robert M. Miller, 81, of Palmer Township, passed away on October 5, 2015 in his home. Born: He was born on June 24, 1934, in Bethlehem, a son of the late Alfred S. and Mary A. Vetrosky Miller. Personal: Robert was preceded in death by his wife, the former Sandra Lee Snyder, to whom he was married for 42 years prior to her passing in 2008. Before retiring in 1996, Robert was a Marketing Manager for Hoechst Celanese Corporation in Somerville, NJ for 29 years. Prior to that he was a Research Chemist for Armstrong Cork Company of Lancaster, PA. He served in the US Army during the Korean War with the National Security Agency. He earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Moravian College. Memberships: He was a member of Chemical Speciality Manufacturer's Association where he served as a divisional board member. He was an Honorary Member of Sales and Marketing Executives of the Easton Area where he served as President for two terms. Survivors: Robert is survived by his daughter, Monique A. Tilford and husband David of Louisville, KY; his son, Seth R. Miller and wife Kimberly of Redmond, WA; a brother, Gene Paul Miller of Bethlehem and grandchildren Eliana, Isabella, Raif, Dain and Rylan. In addition to his wife, a sister Kathryn Ann Miller preceded Robert in death. Services: Graveside services will be held on Friday morning at 11:00am in Gethsemane Cemetery, William Penn Hwy, Palmer Twp.
