Robert R. Smith, Sr., 92, of Easton, PA, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Country Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, in Bethlehem, PA.

Robert was born in Pen Argyl, PA, a son of the late Frank and Edith (Rader) Smith. Robert was married to the love of his life, Rosemary (Stagnito) Smith for 70 years.

Robert attended Easton Area High School until he left to serve his country in the Army from 1948-1951 including the Korean War. He was honorably discharged. He worked for Ingersoll- Rand, in Phillipsburg, NJ, until he retired.

Robert was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, in Easton, the V.F.W., and the American Legion. He enjoyed working in his workshop, golfing and spending time with his family.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary Smith; three sons, Robert Smith, Jr. and his wife, Anne, of Bethlehem, Mark A. of Wind Gap, Gregory and his wife, Kelli of Easton; four grandchildren, Lindsay, Rachel, Mackenzie, and Christopher and his wife, Ivy; a great granddaughter, Margaret R. Smith.  In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by two sisters, Elaine Shanda and Betty Agretto; three brothers, LeRoy Smith, Livingston Smith, and Frank Smith, Jr.; and granddaughter, Devin Smith.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
