Robert Fulper Stout, 73, passed away Tuesday March 14, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Muhlenburg Hospital. Robert was born in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of the late John and Helen (Osborne) Stout. Robert was married to Dolores Stout for 49 years before her passing in 2015. Robert was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, class of 1962 and Trenton State College, now College of NJ, in NJ with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He worked for 38 years for Ingersoll Rand in Phillipsburg, NJ and Phillipsburg Area School district for 10 years before retiring. Robert was a member of F&AM Belvidere Warren Lodge #13 and the tall cedars. He was a member to the Warren Chemical Volunteer Fire Company. He was an assistant scout master troop #63, in Stewartsville, NJ for 10 years. A member of the SIM Rod & Gun Club, in Alpha, NJ for many years. Robert excelled in football and was part of the Phillipsburg High School 1960s championship football team where he was a center and linebacker. Roberts greatest love in his life was his family where he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Robert is survived by his daughters: Victoria S. Cowell and her husband Michael, of Bangor, PA, and Samantha S. Protyniak and her husband Steve, of Palmer Twp., 4 grandchildren Michael, Teddy, Jonathan, and Natalie, a sister Nancy Lee, of Phillipsburg, NJ, a brother John Stout, of Waretown, NJ, many nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog Milo.
