Robert "Monk" VanSyckle, 70, of Palmer Twp. passed away on November 18,2024, at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on March 10, 1954, in Easton, PA. He was the son of the late William Veron and Rose Marie (Assise) VanSyckle. He graduated from Easton High School, class of 1972. Robert served in the United States Maries from 1971 to 1972 when he was honorably discharged. He worked for Mack Printing as a pressman, and most recently worked at St. Luke's Hospital, Easton Campus as a security guard. He married Wanda L. (Ujvary) VanSyckle with whom he had spent 35 loving years.

Robert was a member of the West Easton Firehouse, the Bangor VFW and the Fleas Club in Easton. Robert enjoyed spending as much time as he could fishing, playing a good game of pool, riding his motorcycle, feeding the deer, going to his grandchildren's sporting events. He loved classic cars and was an avid Buffalo Bills and the Red Rovers fan.

Robert is survived by a loving wife Wanda L. (Ujvary) VanSyckle of Palmer Twp; daughters, Tara King and her husband Martty of Dresher, PA; Rose Macario of Easton; a son, Vanve Andrews of Arlington, TX; siblings, Steven VanSyckle and his wife Dawn of Palmer Twp.; Rose Mary Grays of Easton, PA; Cindy Peck and her husband Gregg of Roseto, PA; and Rodger VanSyckle of CO; grandchildren, Giovani, Arienna, Payton, Paige, Conor, and Colin.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by two brothers William Jr. and Randy VanSyckle.
