Rocco C. Panuccio, 92, of Pen Argyl, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Rocco was born in Easton, PA; a son of the late Giuseppe and Rose ( DeMaria) Panuccio. He was the husband of Catherine M. (Haas) Panuccio with whom he celebrated 68 years of marriage this past April 22.

Rocco graduated from Easton High School, the class of 1942. He was honorably discharged from the US  Army Air Force after serving in the European theatre during WWII. Rocco was the President and Owner of Panuccio Construction Inc. for many years before retiring in 1989. Rocco was an avid hunter and golfer, he and his wife spent 25 wonderful years together in Siesta Key Florida.

Rocco was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, in Easton.

In addition to his wife Rocco is survived by a son Joseph Panuccio and his wife Tylene, of Easton, daughter  Kathy Ostrich, of Wind Gap, 7 grandchildren Monica, Charissa, Brian, Tara, Kate, Trisha, Gregory, 7 great grandchildren Aidan, Evan, Rocco, Isabella, Liviana, Vincente, and  Alexander, sisters Rose Selvaggio, of Bethlehem, Josephine Smereczynsky, of Easton, brother Dominic Panuccio, of PA & FL. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Diane M. Mattes, a sister Mary Gugliuzza , and a brother Anthony Panuccio.

Services will be private and under the direction of Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA 18045. Interment will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
