Ronald Harold Fuchs, 86, of Palmer Twp. passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 7, 1937 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Harold and Helen (Letts) Fuchs. Ronald graduated from Irvington High School in 1957 and was drafted into the United States Army in 1960. After his honorable discharge, he worked as a boiler engineer for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 68 until he retired in 1999.

Having lived in Florham Park, NJ for 32 years, Ronald and his wife kept their ties to New Jersey when they purchased a beach house in Beach Haven Park. For 35 years, he relished the times with his family at their New Jersey beach house. He loved being at the beach and going fishing. He enjoyed sharing good times with family and great friends.

He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. Ronald was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time and creating memories with his grandchildren. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marianne (Chiovitti) Fuchs; son Gerald Fuchs and his wife, Phaedra; daughter, Mary Beth Pridham and her husband, Matthew; grandchildren, Marie, Harold "Harry", Lucinda "Lucy", Kevin, and Jennifer.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 11:00 am at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ronald's name to Lehigh Valley Health Network, Office of Philanthropy, PO Box 1883 Allentown, PA 18105.
