Ronald W. "Ron" Houghton, 50, of Easton, PA passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 in Reading Hospital, Reading, PA. He was the husband of Sherri L. Houghton with whom he celebrated 13 years of marriage on July 13, 2020.

Born in Passaic, NJ, he was the son of Ronald C. Houghton of Piscataway, NJ and Elizabeth A. (Zimmermann) Eaton of Milton, DE and the step-son of Kathleen Houghton and Richard M. Eaton.

A 1988 graduate of Piscataway High School, Piscataway, NJ, Ron attended Middlesex County College. After college, he began his career as a sales manager for various mortgage companies in New Jersey and the Lehigh Valley. He was a dedicated employee until falling ill in 2018. Ron coached youth sports right out of high school in New Jersey and became active with the sports teams his children participated on in Forks Township.

Survivors: Wife; parents; step-parents; sons, Connor Jack Houghton, and Jared Lee Houghton at home, and Spencer Reid Houghton, of Easton; brothers, Jeffrey Houghton and his wife Joanna of Philipsburg, NJ, Eric Houghton and his wife Amanda of Stafford Township, NJ; step-sisters, Suzanne Dibella and her husband Dom of Orefield, Heather Fay of Dania Beach, FL; uncles; aunts; and many nephews and nieces.

Services and interment will be private. Family and friends may gather from 5:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
