Ronald J. Spina Sr. Pee, 74, of Palmer Twp. passed away suddenly at his home in Palmer Township, on Sunday August 2, 2015. Ron was born in the Bronx, NY, a son of the late George Sr. and Madeline (DPinto) Spina. Ron was a 1958 graduate of Saint Anns High School in the Bronx, NY. He was the Maritime Editor for the Journal of Commerce, Phillipsburg, NJ, retiring in 2002. He was a wonderful and loving father, grand, and great-grandfather and will be terribly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann (Swiecicki) Spina, a great grandson Ethan Golden, and brother George Jr., who passed away earlier on the same day. Ron is survived by a son Ronald Spina Jr. and his wife Alice, of Saylorsburg; two daughters: Carol Golden and her husband Terry, of Forks Twp., and Donna Lebeduik and her husband Gerald, of Bethlehem Twp.; 7 grandchildren: Terry, Cory, Alice, Shaun, Vincent, Amy, and John; 11 great grandchildren; a companion: Linda Baumgardner; and good buddies: Bob and Steve. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family, under the direction of Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton (Palmer Twp.).
