Rosa L. Lepaje

Rosa L. Lepaje, 101, of Easton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

Born in Lima, Peru on January 17, 1925, Rosa was one of five children born to David and Maura (Altolaguirre) Lepaje. From a young age, she was taught the art of sewing and went on to work as a seamstress for many years, a skill she took great pride in.

Rosa was also a talented cook who found joy in preparing delicious meals for her family. Above all, she cherished caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always placing family at the center of her life.

Rosa is survived by her children, Luis Merino; Elsa Terrones and her husband Jorge L. Terrones; and her daughter-in-law, Gladys John.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Carlos John, Henry John, Shirley John, Aldo Terrones, Jose Terrones, Fanny Terrones, George Terrones, and Karen Terrones.

Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Belinda Rubi Fisher, Daniela Ventocilla, Anthony Terrones, Joseph Terrones, Dayanna Terrones, Tatiana Terrones, Liam Terrones, Alexis Terrones, George Terrones Jr., Amaira Terrones, Elsie Rose Terrones, Emmaree Rubi Rivera, Tiffany Castellanos, Jonathan Colon, Jayson John, Carlos Joel John, Jayden John, Leila John, Lianey John, and Mason John.

In addition to her parents and siblings, Rosa was preceded in death by her son, Carlos John, and her granddaughters, Miriam Rubi Olmo and Jully John.

Calling hours will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Township), followed by a funeral service. Interment will take place at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Green Pond Road, Easton.

Nacida en Lima, Perú, el 17 de enero de 1925, Rosa fue una de cinco hijos nacidos de David y Maura (Altolaguirre) Lepaje. Desde joven aprendió el arte de la costura y trabajó durante muchos años como modista, oficio del cual se sentía muy orgullosa.

Rosa también fue una cocinera talentosa y disfrutaba preparar deliciosas comidas para su familia. Sobre todo, amaba cuidar de sus nietos y bisnietos, siempre poniendo a su familia en el centro de su vida.

Le sobreviven sus hijos, Luis Merino; Elsa Terrones y su esposo Jorge L. Terrones; y su nuera, Gladys John.

También le sobreviven sus nietos: Carols John, Henry John, Shirley John, Aldo Terrones, José Terrones, Fanny Terrones, George Terrones y Karen Terrones.

Las horas de velación se llevarán a cabo de 10:00 a.m. a 11:00 a.m. el jueves 12 de febrero de 2026, en Morello Funeral Home, Inc., ubicado en 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Township), seguido de un servicio funerario. El sepelio se realizará en el Northampton Memorial Shrine, en Green Pond Road, Easton.
