Name: Rosario Russell Bubba, 76, of Easton, PA, passed away Monday, May 16th at Old Orchard Manor Care. Born: Rosario was born on March 21, 1935, in Caraffa di Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy, a son of the late Gennaro and Elisabetta (Mannarino) Bubba. Personal: Rosario worked as a maintenance mechanic for Sure-Fit of Bethlehem. He served in the Italian Army during Peacetime. Memberships: Rosario was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He was also a life member of Laurel Hill Rod & Gun Club, as well as a member of Castel Club, and the Moose Club of Palmer Twp. Survivors: Rosario is survived by his son Gennarino Jerry Bubba and his wife Laura of Washington Twp., PA; daughters Bettina Tina and her husband Isaac Ike Mahaffey of Lower Saucon Twp., Anna-Maria Bubba of Easton; sisters Anna Mancuso of Monte Falco, Perugia and Annunziata Nancy Sulla of Bethlehem Twp.; brothers Domenico and Francesco Bubba, both of Palmer Twp.; grandchildren Lorenzo Bubba, Cassandra Bubba, Claudia Bubba, Christina Bubba, Marino Bubba, Angelo Mahaffey and Dante Mahaffey; and a former wife Concetta Connie Monteleone of Easton. He is preceded in death by brothers Luigi and Giuseppe. Services: Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and also Friday from 7:45 am to 8:45 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9:30 am in St. Anthony Church, 9th & Lehigh Street, Easton, PA. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
