Rosario Garofalo, 76, of Easton, PA, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014 in his home. Born: Rosario was born in San Cataldo, province of Caltanissetta, Sicily, Italy, a son of the late Giuseppe and Catalda (Violo) Garofalo. Personal: Rosario worked various jobs in Italy, Switzerland, Germany and USA. He most recently worked for Victaulic of Forks Twp., from where he received a quality award, before retiring in 2004. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. Memberships: Rosario was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and the Castel Di Lucio Club. Survivors: Rosario is survived by his wife, Francesca Garofalo, a son Joseph Garofalo, a daughter Alda Houser, granddaughter Katherine Mary Garofalo, Pino & Rosa DiGirolamo and family, Nino & Linda DiGirolamo and family, Nino & Sarina Pileri and family, Concetta DiGirolamo, all of the Lehigh Valley; Salvatore & Amelia Garofalo and family, Maria Vetri and family, Carmelo & Maria Garofalo and family, Eugenio & Mariolina Garofalo and family, Giovanni De Luca and family, Maria & Andrea Lo Nigro and family, all of Italy; Heinz & Rosalia Rohr and family of Switzerland. Services: Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also on Saturday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Twp.
