Rose Marie Callanan, 91, of Palmer Twp. passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2024 surrounded by the love of her family. Born on January 11, 1933 in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Rose (Lutri) Blasco.

She graduated from Easton Area High School in 1950. She dedicated her life to her loving family as a caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Rose Marie was a member of St. Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. She served as president for Knights of Columbus #345 Ladies Auxiliary. She also belonged to St. Paul's III Ambassador Club in Palmer Twp. During her leisure time, she enjoyed playing bingo and shopping. Her most treasured time was spent with her family.

Rose Marie is survived by her sons, Vincent Callanan and wife, Mary Ellen; Michael J. Callanan; daughters, Colleen Hunsicker and husband, Brad; Debra Young and husband, Jeff; brother, Anthony Blasco; grandchildren, Danny, Amanda, Shelby, Jeffrey, Erin, Tim, Patrick, Rachel, Scott, Katelyn; great-grandchildren, Emma, Maverick, Leah, Bradley, Brielle, and Landon.

Rose Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent L. Callanan; son, George A. Callanan; sisters, Josephine Piro, Mary Ingraffea, Jennie Dragotta, Lena Arcury; brothers, Samuel, Placido and Joseph Blasco.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) An additional calling hour will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA.
