Name: Rose M. Capanna, 88, formerly of Easton, PA, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Thursday, June 16th in Gracedale Nursing Home. Born: Rose was born on August 31, 1922, in Phillipsburg, NJ, a daughter of the late Paul and Mary Stephano Torcivia. Personal: Rose loved being surrounded by her family, especially at holiday times. She was so proud of working hard to help send her sons to college. She was a cafeteria worker for Easton Area High School before retiring in 1987. Memberships: Rose was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Sodality, Golden Age of St. Anthonys, Ambassador Club at St. Pauls III Lutheran Church. Survivors: Rose is survived by her sons Joseph Capanna of Forks Twp., Dennis Capanna of Bath; grandchildren Jill, Lynn, Tracey, Kristy; great-grandchildren Justin, Logan, Emma, and Lucia. She is preceded in death by her husband Sam Capanna. Services: A calling hour will be held on Monday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a prayer service in the funeral home.
