Rose C. Rothrock, 92, of Bethlehem Township, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2021.
She was born in Nazareth, PA, a daughter of the late John and Susan (Gornick) Pierzga.
Rose was married to Kenneth Rothrock until his passing, and previously to the late John A. Marzano, Jr. She was an expert seamstress in the garment industry for more than 50 years and was an active member of the Notre Dame High School Booster Club years ago.
Rose enjoyed family and social gatherings and traveling to visit her brother in Las Vegas. She loved to cook and bake, especially Christmas cookies; and she continued to enjoy sewing, most recently making masks for family members.
Rose is survived by a son John A. Marzano and wife Jamie of Easton; a daughter Catherine Buschi and husband Mark of Bethlehem Township, with whom she resided; a beloved sister Dorothy Schneebeli and husband Robert of Saylorsburg; grandchildren Benjamin Buschi and fiancée Mary Elizabeth Crist, Bartholomew Buschi and wife Sandra; great-grandchild Ema Rose Buschi; and cherished nieces and nephews and their families. Rose is preceded in death by brothers John, Stanley, Frank, and Henry Pierzga and a sister Margaret Hnatt and her husband Charles, who was like another brother to Rose.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
