Rose M. Shannon (Montoro), 74, of Williams Township, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital Anderson Campus. Born in Easton she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Radogna) Montoro. She graduated from Easton High School in 1966. She married the love of her life, William Shannon III on May 11, 1974, and together they raised three children.

Rose liked to do crossword puzzles as well as play along with the contestants of Wheel of Fortune. She enjoyed cooking a good meal for her family or making a delicious, sweet treat for her grandkids as well as endless on-line shopping for her family. Rose cherished the summer days at the Jersey Shore with her children when they were younger. She enjoyed baking cookies around the holidays and singing along to Elvis Presley's Christmas Album. Rose was known to love a good debate and she had a fiery spirit.

In addition to her husband, she will be greatly missed by her children, Lisa (Liz) Ebner, of Maui, HI, William Shannon IV, of Easton, Christopher Shannon and his wife Kristy, of Lower Nazareth; grandchildren, Jedda, Kayleigh, Jillian, William V, Zoe, Jayden, Sophie, Lia, Eli; great grandchildren, Justin, Leland, and Micah.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp.).
