Rosemary M. Browne, 77, of Bushkill Township, PA passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospice House. Born on November 18, 1946 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Serfozo) and Joseph Grainda, Sr. She graduated from Phillipsburg Catholic High School.
Rosemary was a Realtor for Century 21 and the proprietor of Real Homes, Inc. She had a flower shop named Rose's Bloomers back in the 1970's and worked at Bell Telephone Company as a telephone operator after she graduated from high school. She was a member of Palmer Moravian Church where she and her husband served as Sacristans for a time. She was an enthusiast of cars, belonging to Rolls Royce Owners Club, Silver Ghost Association, and Keystone Region Rolls Royce Owners Club, where she served as secretary for a term. Rosemary enjoyed gardening and painting. She was well loved by her family and her happiest times were when everyone could be together. "Grammy" as she was known by her grandchildren, loved and cherished the time they spent together which always involved laughter. She had quite the sense of humor and she will be fondly remembered for that!
Rosemary is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, David Browne; son, Scott Browne and his wife, Christa of Bushkill Twp.; daughter, Amy Smith and her husband, Christopher of Bethlehem Twp.; sister, Lisa Stanislawczyk and her husband, Stephen of Phillipsburg; brother, Andrew Grainda and his wife, Dolores of Bethlehem Twp.; grandchildren, Alex Browne, Michael (Mina) Browne, Ashleigh Browne, Max Smith, Jack Smith; and great grandchild, Meadow Browne.
In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her brothers, Matthew, Richard, Joseph, and Steve Grainda.
Services will be at Palmer Moravian Church, 2901 John St. Easton, PA on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 10:30AM.
