Rosemary L. Smith, 90, of Plainfield Twp., passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ on April 16, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Angelina (Mazzarese) Stagnito. Rosemary graduated from Easton High School in 1952. She retired as a county clerk for the Northampton County court house. She previously was the bookkeeper for the Pomfret Club for 10 years and initially worked for the Sobel Metal, Inc. as a machine operator.

Rosemary was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She enjoyed being outside in her garden and baking during the holidays for her friends and family. She cherished spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Smith, Jr. and his wife, Anne of Freemansburg; Mark Smith of Wind Gap; Gregory Smith and his wife, Kelli of Easton; grandchildren, Lindsay and her fiancé, Andrew of King of Prussia, Rachel and her husband, Ben of Markleysburg, Mackenzie of Easton, and Christopher Smith and his wife, Ivy of Bangor; great grandchild, Margaret Smith.

In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Robert R. Smith, Sr. and a granddaughter, Devin Smith.

Calling hours will be held from 10:00 AM to 11: 00 AM on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service. Interment will take place at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Rosemary's name may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 900 Washington St., Easton, PA 18042.
