Rukmani Devi Kapoor, 84, of Freemansburg, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Rukmani was born in Patiala, India, a daughter of the late Ganeshi Lal and Shanti Devi Tandon.

Rukmani was married to her loving husband Rajinder Pal Kapoor whom passed in 1983. Rukmani attended school in India. She was a dedicated and loving homemaker for her family. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, spending time with her family, and had a deep love for the Hindu religion.

Rukmani was a member of East Brunswick Sai Center in New Jersey.

Rukmani is survived by her loving children Manmohan Kapoor, in Freemansburg, PA, Vimal Uppal,in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, Anita Shahi, in Franklin Park, NJ, and Vanita Soni, in Allentown, PA, grandchildren Praveer Bahri, Prateek Bahri, Bhunit Kapoor, Shweta Puri, Divya Chauhan, Hardik Uppal, Puja Patel, Puneet Shahi and Prachi Soni, great grandchildren Ananya Bahri, Advik Bahri, Jayden Kapoor, Jia Kapoor, Kayaan Puri, Vivaan Puri, Amira Chauhan, and Maya Patel, sister Santosh Mehra, in New Delhi, India, and a sister-in-law Tarawati Tandon, in Patiala Punjab, India.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.).
