Name: Russell Franklin Sickles, 77 of Easton passed away Saturday February 6, 2010 in his home surrounded by his family. Born: He was born on August 20, 1932 in New Village, NJ a son of the late Franklin and Bertha Sickles. Personal: Russell was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice (Thomas) Sickles in 2006. He was employed as a custodian for Lafayette College for 23 years. Russell was also employed with Pollock Bros. in Easton for 5 years, served as an Easton Area School Crossing Guard for 5 years and Leonards Furniture for 4 years. Memberships: He was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church in Easton. Russell was also a member of the Junior Auto Mechanics of America and lifetime member of Concordia Maenechor and of the Fraternal Order of the Fleas. Survivors: Russell is survived by a nephew Frank Sickles of Easton; a niece Florence Susan Manini of Easton; a great-nephew Jeffery William Stafford of Easton; a great-niece Shawn Susan Horn of Easton and many other nieces and nephews. Sisters Mary Heater, Anna Lutz and brothers Peter, Garner, Edward and Franklin all preceded Russell in death. Services: A calling hour will be held Thursday from 10:00am until 11:00am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp.
