Name Ruth Elaine Weimer, 69 of Palmer Twp. passed away Sunday August 2, 2009 in her home after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Born: She was born on September 16, 1939 in Easton a daughter of the late Harry F. and Ruth Lillian Fauerbach Lair. Personal: Elaine and her husband Francis J. Frank Weimer, Sr. celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on June 11th. She was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School class of 1957 and attended East Stroudsburg University. Memberships: Elaine was of the Catholic faith. Survivors: In addition to her husband, Elaine is survived by sons Frank Jr. of Nazareth, Kurt of Bethlehem and grandchildren Nina and Cindy Weimer and their mother Marion Weimer. Services: Calling hours will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and Thursday morning from 10:00am until 11:00am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
