Sadie S. Foanio, 97, of Easton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in Abington Manor.

Sadie was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Anthony and Jennie (Guiani) Sanguedohe.

Sadie was married to Charles J. Foanio for 52 years before his passing in 2001. She was a seamstress in the manufacturing industry before retiring in 1982. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Sadie is survived by a son Anthony Foanio and wife Ann of Spring Twp.; a daughter-in-law Patricia Foanio and companion Mike Alderman of Delaware County; a sister Grace Alercia of Easton; granddaughters Jaime Foanio Wilkin and husband Todd of Delaware County, Julie Foanio of Atlanta, GA, Victoria A. Foanio of Spring Twp.; great-grandchildren Sadie Jean Wilkin, and Joseph Anthony Wilkin; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a son Joseph Foanio; a sister Theresa Strauss; brothers John and Anthony; brothers-in-law Sam Alercia and Kasty Strauss; and a sister-in-law Irene Sanguedohe.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 am to 10:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton. Interment will be in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Twp.
