Sally Pellicatta Ricci Sylvester, 95 of Palmer Twp. passed away Monday, November 9, 2009 in Old Orchard Manor Care, Bethlehem Twp. Born: She was born on March 31, 1914 in Easton a daughter of the late Stephen and Canzanella DeRetis Pellicatta. Sallys parents passed away while she was very young and she was lovingly raised by the late Ceasar and Filomena Ricci. Personal: Sally was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Sylvester in February of 2001 to whom she was married for 42 years. She was the proprietor of Sallys Beauty Salon in Wilson Boro. from 1958 until 1976. She also worked as a bookkeeper for the former Seamproof Company in Easton many years ago. She attended Churchmans Business School and Easton School of Cosmetology. Sally enjoyed volunteering at the State Theatre and St. Anthonys Church. Memberships: Sally was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton. Survivors: Sally is survived by her sister Betty DeCamillo of Reading, PA, Edithe Sigafoos of Bethlehem Twp., Claire Ricci Meyer of Miami, FL; brothers Joseph DeMartino of Palmer Twp., Dr. Anthony Ricci of Downingtown, PA, Edward Ricci of Palmer Twp. and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by several sisters and brothers. Services: Calling hours will be held Thursday from 8:00am until 9:30am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00am in the church, 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
