Born: Salvatore was born on January 13, 1935 in Easton PA, a son of the late Santo and Mary Tumminello Nigrone. Personal: Salvatore was a garage foreman and mechanic for Penn Dot in the Palmer Twp. Facility for many years before retiring in 1997. He served in the US Marine Corps during Peacetime. Memberships: Salvatore was a member of St. Jane de Chantal Catholic Church, the Holy Cross Society where he served as Master of Ceremonies, and AFSME. Survivors: Salvatore is survived by his wife the former Kathleen A. Piazza Nigrone, a son Gregory S. Nigrone and wife Beth of Williams Twp., sisters Bessie Babie Boos of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Josephine Dolly Scheanou of Bethlehem Twp., and a granddaughter Brianna Mary Nigrone. Salvatore is preceded in death by a brother Santo Nigrone, Jr. Services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a memorial service at 8:00 pm.
