Salvatore Sam P. Zingales, 91, of Easton, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016 in St. Lukes VNA Hospice House.

Sam was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Calandi) Zingales.

Sam was married to the former Jennie Vangeli, with whom he celebrated 68 years of marriage. He was a Machinist Supervisor for Ingersoll Rand Cameron Pump Division in Phillipsburg, NJ for over 40 years; and later was co-proprietor of his familys business, Zingales Market for many years, before retiring in 1982. Sam was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1946. He served in the US Army during World War II as a Medic.

He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, Sam is survived by his children Mary Mayrosh, Sam Zingales, Connie Piparato Zingales, Joe Zingales, and Jennifer Pepper Panto; his brothers Anthony and Joseph Zingales; grandchildren Maria, Nicole, Jackie, Crystal, Michael, Sammy, Jenell; great-grandchildren Pipa, Greta, and Lola. He is preceded in death by his sisters Concetta Ciaverella, Eleanor Zingales, Josephine Manos, and Rose Probasco.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 5:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private in St. Anthonys Cemetery.
