Name: Samuel A. DeBona, 77 of Easton passed away Monday April 20, 2009 in Easton Hospital. Born: He was born on August 4, 1931 in Easton, a son of the late Vito and Margaret (Vitale) DeBona. Personal: He was employed as a machine operator for the former Harmony Dye & the former New Quaker Dye House retiring in 1995. Samuel served in the military police for the US Army during the Korean War. Memberships: He was a member of St. Anthonys of Padua Catholic Church, Easton, PA. Samuel was also a member of the FLEAS and Citizens Hose Co. both of Easton, PA. Survivors: Samuel is survived by sisters; Mary Jane Mandarino of Bethlehem Twp, PA, Victoria Ribando of Brooklyn, NY, brothers; Dominick and Richard both of Easton, PA. A daughter Pamela DeBona and sisters; Josephine Ribando, Catherine Vulcano, Margaret Vulcano and brother Milo DeBona all preceded Samuel in death. Services: Calling hours will be held Thursday from 8:15AM until 9:15AM in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM in St. Anthonys of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Ferry St. Easton, PA. Interment will be in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Easton.
