Samuel A. Saad, 84, of Easton, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 in Moravian Village Nursing Home. He was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Harry and Helen Carmella (Thomas) Saad. Samuel was married to the former Josephine A. Badway, before her passing in 2012. He was a truck driver for Raymond Baurkot & Sons of Easton for 37 years before retiring in 1990. Samuel was a Private in the US Army during the Korean War, receiving two Bronze Camp Stars. Samuel was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church. He is survived by daughters Valerie A. Saad of Bethlehem Twp., Helen L. Budway and husband Anthony of Johnston, Rhode Island; sisters Mary Lottie Najjar of Phillipsburg, NJ, Marion Coccia of Easton; grandchildren Samuel A. Budway and wife Yara, Anthony T. Budway, Jr., and Zachary P. Budway. Samuel leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a sister Sadie Saad. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a Prayer of the Incense at 4:30 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). An additional calling hour will be held on Friday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in the funeral home. A Divine Liturgy will be held on Friday at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church, 4th & Ferry Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
