Samuel B. Salvero, 99, of Richmond, VA formerly of Easton, PA passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 with family by his bedside.

He was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Joseph Salvero and Rose (Zucchero) Salvero of Sicily.

Samuel was married to Maria (Volpe) Salvero with whom he celebrated 53 years of marriage.  A graduate of Philadelphia Art school, he was an avid scenery painter, trumpet player, member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church of Easton and maintained and painted St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church statues.  He owned a painting and decorating company and later worked in the foundry industry for Atlantic States.  He proudly served with distinction in the United States Army during WWII serving with the Company Combat Command B 8th Armor Division at Central Europe, Ardennes and Rhineland earning multiple campaign awards.    His is most notably known for his water, farm and landscape paintings.

Samuel is survived by his wife Maria and two sons.  Joe Salvero and wife Joanne of Richmond, VA, with children Amanda, Joe and Alex.  Sam Salvero Jr. lives in Norfolk, VA with children Rey and Kamille, he was a great grandfather to four.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
