Sandra C. Squire, 77, of Pohatcong Twp., NJ, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Arden Court.
Born: On August 11, 1948 in Ottawa, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Patricia (Tkachyshyn) Wood and Stanley Wood.
Personal: Beloved wife of the late Donald A. Squire for 36 years. She had lived in Pohatcong Township for 49 years. Prior to that, she lived in Ottawa and Trenton Canada, Nottingham England, Philadelphia PA, Milford and Clinton, NJ. Sandra was a dedicated and patient homemaker raising four boys. She graduated from George Washington High School (Philadelphia) class of 1966. She enjoyed spending time with family, sharing a Lipton tea and delighting in the year-round beauty of Mellicks Woods Road. She loved all her family, especially her grandchildren.
Memberships: She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses, Clinton Congregation, Clinton., NJ.
Survivors: Predeceased by her eldest son Daniel N. Squire and sister Judith Dongowski.
She is survived by three sons, Matthew J. and his wife, Jennifer of Wesley Chapel, FL., Stephen P. of New Castle, CO. and Joseph S. and his wife, Dawn of Saylorsburg, PA.; daughter in law Analia of Bethlehem Twp. PA.; two sisters, Linda Paradis of Orleans, Canada and Deborah Thatcher and her husband, Roger of Glassboro, NJ; six grandchildren, Joshua, Samantha, William, Joanna, Patricia and Donald. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Services: A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Details will be communicated by the family.
