Sandy P. Stra, 69, of Palmer Township, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Flemington, NJ, on December 5, 1954, he was a son of the late Patsy and Sara Marie (Trout) Stra. Sandy graduated from South Hunterdon High School in 1974. He worked for Johanna Foods for over 20 years before retiring.

Sandy loved watching college and professional football. He was an avid fan of the Penn State Nittany Lions and the San Francisco 49ers. He was a huge NASCAR fan. He enjoyed a good meal or snack, his favorites were Oreos, cheeseburgers, pizza, and pasta.

He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Jennifer Stra; daughters, Brandie Gonzales of Macungie; Shannon Stra and her fiancé, Chris Schlosser of Bethlehem; Patti Stra-Fisk and her wife, Jodi of Easton; sons, Mark Hicks and his wife, Karen of Lambertville, NJ; John Hicks and his wife, Carolyn of Lambertville, NJ; 12 grandchildren including, Jayde Stra, Antonio Stra, Juliana Gonzales, Jackson Gonzales, and Mason Schlosser; sister, Patti Stra of Port St. Lucie, FL; brothers, Frank Hults and his wife, Linda of Lambertville, NJ; Barry Hults and his companion, Cindy of Northampton; and Ricky Hults and his wife, Gaye of Lambertville, NJ.

Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp.).
