Sara Colberg, 90, of Forks Twp. passed away peacefully in her home on August 16, 2023. Born on December 23, 1932 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Casimiro and Tomasa (Melendez) Chico.

She worked as a seamstress and was very involved in her church. Sara was married to Bolivar Colberg for 64 years. Together, they raised a beautiful family. Sara enjoyed sewing and knitting booties, caps and blankets for all of her grandchildren's births.

In addition to her husband, Sara is survived by her sons, David Colberg and his wife, Jana; Noel Colberg and his wife, Julissa; Joel Colberg and his wife, Musette; daughters, Elizabeth Colberg-Torres and her husband, Benjamin; Ruth David and her husband, Gregory; sister, Luz Iris Chico; grandchildren, David Anthony, Jessica Angelique and her husband, James Somma, Benjamin Joseph, Alyssa Beth, Emily Nicole, Jennifer Love, Stephanie Faith, Kayla Francesca, Timothy Noel, Hunter Ryan, Izabella Jade; and a great-grandchild on the way, Baby Somma.

Sara was preceded in death by her daughter, Abigail Colberg, sisters, Luz Celenia Senquiz, Solesnir Chico, Elisa Rivera, and brother Domingo Alvira.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 11:00 am in the funeral home followed by interment at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
