Saul A. Grandinetti, Jr., 86, of Wyomissing, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2022, at Celebration Villa in Exeter.

Born in Easton on August 7, 1935, he was a son of the late Saul A. Grandinetti and Antoinette (Marinelli) Grandinetti. Saul graduated from Phillipsburg High School class of 1953. He worked as a store manager for Laneco in Northampton, Lehigh, and Berks Counties. Saul also worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company as an agent and district manager in the Easton and Reading areas.

Saul was head of the Shillington crime watch for many years. He loved bass and trout fishing everywhere and anywhere that he could drop a line in the water. He spent many days at Echo Lake in Bangor. Saul also enjoyed setting up and selling unique items at flea markets and documenting the lives of his family through photos and videos. Saul was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his wife Gertrude (Schlabach) Grandinetti; sons, Saul A. Grandinetti III and wife Becky, Sinking Spring; Salvatore A. Grandinetti widower of Gena, Shillington; daughter, Sharon L. Pruzinsky and husband Jim, Sinking Spring; five grandchildren, Sarah, Saul IV, Megan, Nina, and Bill; five great grandchildren, Charlie, Leela, Cecilia, Olivia, and Jazmin; and his previous wife of 25 years, Catherine (Lutri) Grandinetti, Shillington.

In addition to his parents, Saul was predeceased by his sisters, Jean Hartranft and Shirley Black.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 12:00 PM. Interment will take place at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Easton.
