Scott R. Hunt, 63, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 in Old Orchard Manor Care.

Scott was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Donald and Esther (Whalen) Hunt.

Scott was a graduate of Wilson Area High School, class of 1971. He received a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design from Kutztown State College in 1975 and attended New York University in 1982 for Film Studies. Scott was an Art Director for McGraw-Hill Publishing in New York City prior to retiring. He previously worked for Scholastic Books, and Dell Publishing in New York City.

Scott is survived by a sister Peggy Hunt Gernerd and husband Eric of Oley, PA; a brother Kenneth Hunt and wife Diane of Williams Twp.; nephews Ethan and Graham Gernerd, and Douglas R. Hunt; a sister-in-law Kathy Hunt of Emmaus; and several cousins. He is preceded in death by a brother Don Randy Hunt.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 noon in the funeral home.
