Sharlyn Alvarnaz, 27, of Easton passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023, peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 13, 1995 in Atlantic City, NJ, she was the daughter of Jose Aponte Santos and Sharon Cruz Montalvo.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Sharlyn married her loving wife, Hope Alvarnaz in 2015 and together they raised two beautiful daughters. Sharlyn loved to bake especially during the holidays. Her wonderful creations were whatever came to her mind. During her free time, she made candles with her wife in the hopes of one day opening their own business. Her favorite family memories were traveling with her wife and children. To her, family meant everything. She will be truly missed by many.

In addition to her parents and wife, Sharlyn is survived by her daughters, Kayana and Ocean Alvarnaz, two sisters and three brothers.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm in St. John's Lutheran Church, 18 South 3rd Street, Coplay, PA. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA.
